Keep the exact current title
The selected current GhostCover Original variant says MacBook Air 13 inch M2–M5, 2022–2026/US Keyboard Layout/Clear. Its variant ID is 43030017573111 and SKU is UPP-PKBC-MBP21. The observed price is 12.98 USD with available true. The guide records that current title without pretending every listed generation was independently fitted or measured.
Limit the verified lookup
The tool verifies the M2, 2022 Air relationship using Apple’s Mac14,2 identifier and the maker’s selected family title. It does not automatically return matches for every other identifier in the broader M2–M5 range. Those remain outside this limited verified lookup until their exact current mapping and layout are reviewed. An unknown result is not a tested failure.
Do not infer from a shared SKU
The product family uses a SKU that can appear with more than one model selector. The variant ID and selected option title therefore matter. A SKU alone is not a complete statement of the exact device choice, color and layout. Keep all those fields rather than reducing the order note to a short code that can be reused across options.
Separate screen classes
The current store has another Air 15 inch selector. Its existence does not mean the selected 13 inch option can be renamed for every 15 inch machine without checking the actual record. A manufacturer may group particular keyboards, but this site does not generalize from screen diagonal or assume all notebook keyboards share one mold.
Keep the use boundary
The maker’s TPU and thinness statements do not override Apple’s instruction to remove keyboard covers before closing the display. This site does not calculate a permissible clearance or promise that the cover cannot affect the screen. It has not measured backlight transmission, key travel, temperature or liquid ingress.
Before selecting a newer model
Use the actual current model identifier and layout, then confirm the exact chosen manufacturer variant. If that mapping is outside the tool’s reviewed set, ask the seller rather than accepting a guessed match. The current price can be recorded accurately while compatibility for an unreviewed generation remains pending. That distinction stays visible in the table and finder.
A broad title can remain partly unreviewed
The current newer-Air title spans several generations, but the tool intentionally verifies only the exact M2 family identifier reviewed against Apple. A limited lookup does not need to pretend its coverage equals the entire seller catalog. If a buyer enters another model, the output can still be useful by stating what is missing:the exact identifier mapping, current selected physical layout and product version. Do not expand the tool by assuming every later chip uses the same mold or that a reused SKU proves that point. A later source review can add a new documented relationship without rewriting an earlier unknown as a tested failure.
